UNIVERSITY
University Rowers
The University season runs slightly differently to the summer and winter programme although we look to have a high percentage of cross over with University rowers training in our club or senior programme.

There are two University seasons in the year. The first start of March until the end of April for NZ University Games, and the second runs from August to September for the “Battle of the Bombays”, a 20 year old yearly challenge on the Waikato River between the University of Auckland and Waikato University, which in recent years has also included the likes of AUT and Victoria University of Wellington.
The University programme can be a awesome way to get into rowing and has a great social scene as well.

HIGH PERFORMANCE
High Performance Rowers
Club level rowers who perform to a very high standard and meet selection criteria are taken into a high performance scheme. Our club holds the licence for the Waikato Regional High Performance Centre where these rowers are based. Please see the link below to the Waikato Regional Performance Centre.
